Multi X-ray Source, Multi-camera Support Functions
It is impossible to CT scan the entire image of a large sample such as an automobile body or engine using a normal CT device because they are too large. This is because there is a limit to the size of the detector (camera) attached to the CT, and because the X-ray source is not an open tube, it is impossible to make the X-ray irradiation range very large. In recent years, therefore, devices equipped with multiple detectors(multiple cameras) and multiple X-ray sources have been developed.
TomoShop® implements a unique algorithm that supports devices equipped with multiple X-ray sources and multiple cameras, making it possible to reconstruct 3D scan data of large samples.
In addition, there is a method that applies these methods and uses one camera and one X-ray source each to scan one section, move to the next section, and scan the entire subject. In that case, it is necessary to use CT reconstruction software to finally connect the volume images of each section. TomoShop® makes this possible.
1. Multi-camera CT reconstruction (standard feature for F2 edition and above)
2. Longitudinal Multi-source CT Reconstruction (standard feature for F3 edition and above)
