(The software for 3D printing, 3D viewer, measurement and analysis)
Needs for 3D printing in recent years are remarkable in various fields such as industries, medical, hobby and others.
For example, in medical field, 3D printing is widely used for making the 3D models for pre-examination model for the operations as well as educational models for the students class in medical training, and other purposes.
Therefore, the TomoShop® Viewer series was born for bridging a gap between CT / MRI data and 3D printing.
TomoShop Viewer series has two editions which are:
- Viewer * same as TomoShop Dental Viewer
- Viewer Lab
- Viewer Pro
TomoShop® Viewer (TomoShop® Dental Viewer), Viewer Lab
TomoShop® Viewer Pro Edition is intended for objects containing sizes of 50 ㎛ or larger size.
It can be expected to use for:
- Medical field
- Dental care field
- Veterinary medical field
- Hobby, Industry, etc.
- Those whose size is 50 ㎛ or more
TomoShop® Viewer Pro (High Grade Edition)
TomoShop® Viewer is for a sample including a part whose size is 50 ㎛ or less. Other than the target size.
As the object becomes smaller, the recommended areas are:
- Industrial / Industrial
- Research model (various fields)
- Art objects
- Hobby
- Others
- The size of the object is 50 or less.
Main Functions
The TomoShop® Viewer series can extract only necessary parts, add new shapes and correct shape.
The TomoShop® Viewer series has an auxiliary functions to prepare the 3D image data from CT / MRI outcomes for 3D printing to make 3D models.
The following are the main functions.
- It is possible to extract the desired part with the segmentation function.
- Volume data editing is possible with the volume editing tools. (Change of shape, addition of new shape, deletion of unnecessary shape ~ etc.)
- It is possible to create and output color 3D model data with the coloring function.
- File conversion & output functions enables output in data format such as STL and WRL.
The simple process of importing DICOM data (3D), editing the data, transform it to STL format and output and model making by using 3D printing.

Other Functions
Artifact reduction tool
Initial CT data has ring-artifact that is not really exist on the sample, and prevent to make real its shape. TomoShop® Viewer has a function of artifact reduction tool (ring-artifact, vertical-artifact)

CAD Data Simulation
Enable to import and locate CAD data (3D) on the particular are of the object. The left image shows an example of dental simulation.
Multi-touch control for Windows 8
Enable to operate the soft on touch panel PC with Windows OS(Windows 8).
Required environment for using TomoShop® Viewer Series
TomoShop® Viewer series can be generated under the following condition of PC.
- CPU: Ivy Bridge generation or later.
- GPU:
- NVIDIA’s GPU and with CUDA capability. Ex. GeForce, Quadro, Tesla
- Compute Capability should be 5.2 or higher. (Ver 5.0 or later)
- Latest driver should be installed.

- OS: Microsoft Windows 10 /11 (x64)
- Memory: 16GB (minimum)
- Power Unit: 650W or higher
