3D Printing
FDM
laminating the material that is melted by the filament’s heat and creating the shape of the models. In some case, finishing operations are necessity, since the surface of the model has line textures.
The materials are PLA, ABS and others.
PLA:
It is from plants such as corns. Compared with ABS, it is hardly to create warp of models when the model is dried and fixed its shape. Polishing finishing with sanding paper is hard to apply, since PLA is harder than ABS.
ABS:
It is ABS plastic. Compared with PLA, it is easy to create wrap of models when the model is dried and fixed its shape. Polishing finishing with sanding paper is easy to apply as the other plastic material.
There are many colors are available for PLA and ABS.
The 3D printer of FDM type is the cheapest to purchase.
Gypsum
The models out of gypsum are hard and strong against heat. It is commonly used in medical and other health care industry particularly for making bones, tooth, etc.
Inkjet
The liquid type of plastics are splayed and create the model.
