TomoShop® version 5.1 is released!

The latest version of TomoShop® version 5.1 is now available. The new version 5.1 use the latest GPU that uses AMPERE technology provided by NVIDIA to achieve more than twice the speed of the previous version. The improvements listed below.

1. NVIDIA has released the latest version of GPU: AMPERE(CUDA® 11.1). Using the retest GPU’s technology, TomoShop has achieved amazing reconstruction speed. *GPU computing capacity (Computed Capability (CC)) of 5.2 or higher is required.

Improvement of the each function:

1. Initial parameters can be set in CT reconstruction.
2. Improvements to the focusing function have made it possible to display the coordinate system can select parameters.
3. It is possible to covert the absorption coefficient of the composite materials into Hounsfield Unit.
4. It is possible to display the distance from the central slice to the displayed slice (the slice of the displayed slice number) at the same time. Therefore, it is possible to specify the size more clearly.
5. The processing speed of the isosurface conversion function (STL conversion function) has been made faster and simpler, making it easier to use.
6. It is possible to select all by surface area within the separated part, and it is also possible to color and display.
