TomoShop® version 3.5 is released!

TomoShop® version 3.5 is released.

TomoShop® version 3.5 adds, modifies and develops new functions for CT image reconstruction, 3D visualization, measurement and analysis functions which are main features.
The main new functions are described below. (May 2017)

1. Added new CT image reconstruction function by using multi GPU. This makes it possible to reconstruct images at ultra high speed.
2. In the ring artifact reduction function, the variations of detector element sensitivity are estimated before image reconstruction stage, then reconstruction stage is performed. Thereby it performs much better ring artifacts reduction.
3. A newly developed rendering method are added to the 3D visualization functions. This realized enhancement of 3D visualization functions.
4. In the automatic defect detection function, when aligning the CT data and the CAD data, more accurate positioning has been realized by adding a function that uses the reference element, plane, curved surface, point, etc..
5. A new “Quick Access” operation screen has been added. this simplifies the operations and realizes a user-friendly operation environment.
6. It possible to support PASCAL series GPUs. (CUDA® 8.0 is adopted)
