TomoShop® version 3.0 is released!
TomoShop® version 3.0 is released.
TomoShop® version 3.0 adds, modifies and develops new functions for CT image reconstruction, 3D visualization, measurement and analysis functions which are main features. The main new functions are described below. (January 2016)
- Helix Edition Series are released for helical CT image reconstruction. Helix Edition Series corresponding to helical CT system using FPD (Flat Panel Detector).
- A new function is added that allows detection of defective pixels in CT images and reduction of troublesome artifacts by using a defective pixel map that maps the information of those defects.
- In the 3D filtering function, by adding a next-generation image filtering function such as compression censoring, higher quality image results are processed.
- In the automatic defect detection function. the new functions enables alignment between a STL data and a volume data.
- Improved the quality of STL data output functions.
- It is possible to support 16 bit floating point data format.(CUDA® 7.0 is adopted) With this, CUDA computing power of GPU needs 3.0 or more.
- Support of V Edition Series is discontinued.
- Support of Windows 32 bit OS reconstruction functions is ended.
